Chapter 4

With Becca's bottom sore from both a fully deserved spanking and sex, she curled into the warm blankets and let the day fade from her mind. It took no time at all for her to succumb to sleep.

The comfort of sleep wasn't granted for long. Her eyes opened in the darkness, but the clock was impossible to see. Darkness and cold enveloped the room.

"Can you turn the heat up?" Becca asked, shivering as her toes had chilled and the lack of clothes wasn't helping. She stretched from the bed, struggling to see in the dark as she found a shirt and sweats to put on. Assuming it was the clothes he'd leant her earlier and not what he'd worn yesterday, she slipped back into the outfit, burying herself further under the blankets with Alec. The house had dropped twenty degrees in a matter of hours. At least that's how it felt.

Alec mumbled, half-asleep. He rubbed at his eyes and stumbled out of bed naked. A few minutes later he returned with several blankets and even in the darkness Becca could see he'd gotten dressed. Though she couldn't see what he wore, she guessed it had been some sort of pajamas that were long.

"The electricity's out. Not sure how long it's been out. It's gotten chilly. The storm brought in that cold front and it probably took out the line outside."

"Great," Becca said under her breath, not at all pleased. At least her bottom wasn't as painful anymore.

Alec covered the bed with multiple quilts and blankets, in an attempt to help keep them both warm. He walked toward the window, glancing outside at the snow and darkness.

"See anything?" she asked.

"Not a light for miles."

Becca felt too cold to climb from the bed again to see how dark the skyline was at this hour. Soon morning would come and at least she could head on her way to her brother's place. Hopefully within an hour the electricity would kick back in. Though Becca knew it was doubtful since it had probably been off for some time.

The warm blankets helped make the unbearable cold survivable.

"Come back to bed," Becca said, buried under the covers. "It's warmer with two of us in here."

Alec pulled back the blankets and Becca shivered from the fresh chill as he joined her and then covered them both up. "We should share body heat," he said, suggesting they get closer as he curled up against her, tangling his limbs with hers. This time it felt far less intimate.

"You're freezing!" she shrieked, trying to pull away from his cold clothed body but he wouldn't let her go.

"I know. You're helping warm me up, thank you."

"Like I have a choice?" Becca laughed. The cold woke her more than she realized. At this rate she wouldn't fall back asleep. Shivering against him, Alec wrapped his arms around her body, attempting to warm her up.

He placed soft kisses over her lips, though his mouth had grown cold. It wasn't helping. "Your lips
